This week, The Blogger Programme take a look at which new digital features every influencer should embrace this year. Whether it's testing out IGTV, using YouTube Premieres or posting your content on multiple accounts - we have 5 new suggestions for you to try and test out.
IGTV
Ready to compete against YouTubers? If Instagram is your main focus, IGTV may help you take your digital footprint that one step further. Not only does it help you engage with users on a much deeper level, but it means you're able to share two long minutes of content! Foodie influencers... why not film yourself creating a recipe? Or a behind-the-scenes shoot of the kitchen you use to create all your delicious creations? We're already seeing influencer content evolve from being static to more video content, so why not join in?
YouTube Premieres
Think live streaming, but without the live part. YouTube Premieres lets you and your viewers watch and experience a new video together, similar to a premiere. Using the feature allows you to schedule a video upload, create buzz around the video, watch it live with your audience and join in the conversation.
Close Friends List
We all like to share content with friends, maybe it's an inside joke or a bad hair day. So now with Instagram's Close Friends List, you are able to keep your followers separate to your friends. The feature allows you to hand select a group of friends or followers to share private stories with. This means you can be more selective with who watches your stories and what you are uploading!
Pinterest Shopping
Influencers are always being asked where they bought an item of clothing from when posting their outfit choices, so Pinterest have introduced Shop the Look. This feature allows users to buy individual items within a Pin by directing them straight to the retailer's website. Genius right?
Self-regram
The latest new feature from Instagram will help those of you who operate more than one account. If your constantly switching between two or more accounts, there is now a new option that lets you post to multiple accounts on the publish page once you have edited your final image. This will help to save many people a lot of time, giving you extra time to shoot that all important content.
Here at TBP, we have no doubt that these new features will shake up the market and your social media page! If you're looking to take your social platform to the next level, having management to help direct you can be the next step in your career. At TBP we have a completely transparent partnership with our influencers.
