ANALYSE! ANALYSE! ANALYSE!
Despite what some people may think a lot of effort and work goes into blogging, so you want to track your results and make sure your hard work is showing progress. It’s also a good way to see what days your content works best on, it will give you a chance to see what topics on your blog had the most engagement. Reminding yourself that you are achieving something and people are reading your blog will encourage you to keep blogging!
Reward Yourself
It’s important to keep track of your progress but it is also very important to reward yourself for each milestone you cross, no matter how big or small it may be. Whether it’s hitting 20,000 followers on Instagram, completing your 100th blog post or even working with a brand you have wanted to work with since starting your blog. You have achieved something, so reward yourself! When you celebrate every little victory you will work with more positive energy and it will motivate you to achieve your next milestone.
Interact With Your Followers!
We cannot stress enough how important it is to interact with your followers, after all they are the readers! By responding to all your Instagram comments, your tweets and blog comments you are showing your readers that you are interested in what they have to say. It will also show them you are engaged which will make them want to come back and comment more. This is another great way to grow your following and now Instagram even gives you the option to 'like' comments so you have no excuse to ignore your followers now!
Get Organised
This is probably the most obvious one out of them all but it is also the one which is going to make you stay on track. Plan ahead, if you know certain seasons/events are coming up plan your content and put it in your diary. This way you are working ahead and will keep you on track when publishing content.
Get Social
Keeping your blog content up to date is important yes, but getting social is also very important if you want to grow your readership. The majority of bloggers' readership comes from Instagram now, so when you have a new blog post why not share it on social and promote it across social. Your objective is to encourage others to share your information and to engage with you.
