Two weeks ago, The Blogger Programme sent five lucky bloggers (Gwilym C Pugh, James Vincent, JC Peters, Samkingftw & AQ Official) on an exclusive race simulation day atLets Racewith Formula 3 driver Struan Moore!
Struan Moore is a 20 year old rising star in the world of motor racing. Originally from Jersey, he was part of the championship winning team in BRDC F4 in 2014, collecting seven podiums. He signed last season with KC Motorgroup and was racing out in the Japanese F3 series.
There will be an exciting announcement in the next stage of Struan’s racing career in early January 2016 so watch this space! You can read more about Struan here.
And follow Struan on social media here:
(Psst! Stay tuned to the end of this post to find out how you can win your very own racing experience day!)
Back to the race day itself. After arriving at the Lets Race venue, everyone was introduced to Struan to learn a little more about him and his career while he gave a tour of the venue.
The fun activities for the day began with a quick warm up on the brand new Lets Golf simulators which are now also available for bookings.
The racing began with a 15 minute practice session and qualifying round with, of course, Struan coming in first with a best lap of 1:51 seconds!
And then it was time for the real deal...
The boys prepared for a full 30 minute race against Struan.
Ready, Set, Race!
After many stalls, a couple of wrong turns and numerous flips and crashes, the race was completed - and the bloggers prepared for a podium presentation to announce the winners…
The man himself, Struan Moore came in first place followed by Tim Silvey, Head of Motorsport for Struan’s Management Company, Crown Talent and Media Group in close second and Gwilym Pugh finishing in third.
The day ended on a high over some dinner in Blacks Burgers as the boys got to chat more with Struan who also showed (and gifted!) the lads items from his new exclusive clothing range.
Struan Moore's clothing range will be available soon on his website but check out the video below for a little preview of what's to come. Be sure to also check out James Vincent's blog post for a great review from a bloggers perspective.
Sounds like a fun day right? Well now you have the chance to win an experience day with Struan just like this!
