The fashion event of the season: London Fashion Weekend is back!
Here at The Blogger Programme we were super excited to team up with London Fashion Weekend and some stylish bloggers for the latest fashion event at the magnificent Saatchi Gallery in Sloane Square, London.
We wanted to give you the chance to experience the life of the fashion insider, that’s why we went along with four fabulous TBP bloggers to document the event and show you what really happens behind the scenes.
So first things first, there’s tons to experience in the buzzing atmosphere of the Saatchi Gallery, home to fashion’s biggest pop-up! The morning got off to a great start as we got the chance to be inspired and seek expert style advice from the beauty professionals at TONI&GUY.
Our fabulous bloggers got to trial a new look ready to style to perfection for the day and of course ready for those must have Instagram pics. (durhhhh!)
After the TONI&GUY experience we got to spend some time strolling around the different designer showrooms on offer. We quickly realised that fashion’s biggest pop-up offered the very best in designer shopping, with curated galleries of must-have British and international brands at exclusive industry insider prices. It certainly didn’t take long for the spending the begin…
After all that shopping we got to relax as we sat FROW ready for the first catwalk show of the day! We were super excited to see some of the biggest names from London Fashion Week in action showcasing their collections exclusively for the London Fashion Weekend schedule. We were lucky enough to experience the Trend Show, which revealed the latest talked-about seasonal trends, including ‘Americana’, ‘Beautiful Botanicals’, ’True Romance’, ‘Pop Art Brights’ and ‘New Romance’.
It was a very inspiring show and definitely gave us some top tips for the season ahead. To continue the fun we were lucky enough to have a quick makeup touch-up by the lovely Maybelline New York team, who were on hand to offer us some pampering beauty treatments and expert beauty advice.
To finish the day we attended an inspiring talk with some of the industry’s most revered and respected.
