Over the years, more and more consumers have been inclined to trust the opinion of an influencer over the brand itself. As a result of this brands have begun to create influencer marketing strategies to effectively market their product ranges and launches.
To gain a better insight, Fashion and Beauty Monitor surveyed 348 marketing professionals representing the UK and US Fashion and Beauty industry.

#01. 57% of survey respondents say they have an influencer marketing strategy in place whilst 21% said they plan to invest in it over the next 12 months
#02. 84% of respondents manually search social media platforms and forums to identify influencers
#03. As a result, 73% admitted that trying to identify the right influencer is the greatest challenge
#04. Almost 72% of respondents believe relevancy in relation to subject area is more important than influencer reach
#05. Budgets for influencer marketing are set to increase for 59% of respondents in 2016.
